For some time now.

I have a big pile of keys.

I think I'll see if any fit so we can finally see what's inside.

I don't suppose any of those keys might fit my car ignition? :)

Not Likely but cars are actually quite simple to start and drive off in without a key. Not that I ever had an inclination to boost a car, but II had an autobody shop forever. If it's an older GM, you probobly just need aa 7mm wrech.

It's a 1990 Honda Civic DX hatchback.

I took my tools out of the trunk this afternoon on the way home from my parents since they are leaving it unlocked. Those were the only thing in it that I care much about having stolen.

How long have they been missing?

I'm sure I should know but remember, I forget a lot.

I lost them last night around 6:30 somewhere in between my broken down car and the pay phone I walked to ten minutes up the parkway. They apparently fell out of my pocket during the walk - and got buried in the snow. (It's on my lj from last night.)

Hopefully they are still there and I can go find them when the snow melts. Which I'm hoping will be tomorrow. Meanwhile the car is sitting unlocked at the service station a few blocks from here, where it was towed to.
