I like blue skies and coffee but rain relaxes me.

My wife is really ill I've been running on fumes I owe so much to the caregivers for the break I get during the day but the past month I've spent the days just jumping through hoop after hoop and got her admitted to a hospital on a Friday everything prearranged including having records faxed from the pertinent doctors before everything closed for the weekend it took me 4 hours she has so many doctors and so many records and she got worse but wanted to be home and I got her out with medical approval to avoid adding to the already forming Insurance nightmare of Medicare part D the college crammed on her with glowing recommendations but is for lack of better words Merde plain and simple.

The college saved some money and cost us thousands and thousands after she gave them 28 years...

And or so she comes home and without details gets worse and worse and I am exhausted and I see she needs better care than she is getting and once again hoops and hurdles and thanks to the many doctors and nurses and rehab people and cna's and everyone else even if it was just to open the door for me I get her readmitted and and and and and they try a new med she hallucinates from it took days to restore reality and thank you for stopping it immediately when I asked doc...

When I am tired I slur my words sound like a drunk forget things midsentence but I saw the signs googled the med and read for an hour and comprehended it...

I am not very Religious but I have incredible faith.

Sometimes I pray but seldom for help only to say thanks after surviving whatever the ordeal du jour was people love to hear my stories LOL at least I tell myself they do but I called my mom last night asked her to light her candles she lit a row the wife woke lucid completely herself and we both had slept 9 hours straight uninterrupted and her wounds are healing rapidly I see the change from yesterday I forget so I document these things with photos so I can show daily progress to the doc (thanks again) on Saturday and five weeks of stress for a short time are lifted from me and she sleeps as I sit on the back deck and experience the rain knowing I can do this.

...to your wife and to you. May the improvement continue.

I always found rain to be really healing. Ions. The smell of little living things in the soil springing out of their hibernation. The sound of it. The way it seems to slow the pace of the world.

You can do this.

Ions are so small but so effective.
