And Drives the Colors from my Sight...

I'm slacking big time and haven't been able to really sleep in forever it seems. Every night I think of the things I should have gotten around to doing the day before and it's such simple things like door knobs and base moldings or even just unpacking things and hanging pictures but I'm still dragging around the tiredness of working on the same thing day after day after day...

Finishing things is hard for me, it's an invisible wall that seems like such a climb going all the way back to school projects finished at the last hour. I've always worked everyday in some form or another and as long as it is something new I keep going but tie me to a project and things can drag on and on and on.

I could probably finish the bulk of this stuff in 2 weeks if it was a totally new project to me.

I need a plan.

Can't Sleep

I totally understand and relate to the difficulty finishing things. I've always been one to leave things to the last minute and put things off as long as possible once I'm no longer interested. Thankfully once I really get focused on finishing something that's pretty much all I do (which helps me get caught up w/ work and projects around the house).

I agree with girlfrommars72, that pool looks very enticing for skinny dipping.

I know its corney and hackneyed but..
Get a big board and a pen and write a list.
Add all the pending tasks to it.
Every day pick one of them to do. It doesn't have to be the top one, but you have to pick one.
When you finish a job cross it off and reward yourself.

for a long long time lol.

The problem with writing out a list is my wife will find it and keep adding to it.

I just need to get myself moving again.
