Jan. 12th, 2007 @ 08:42 am I got my Lazy Self Up Yesterday
And made a trip to Lowe's and got all the stuff to do all the closets so my wife can hang up all her things.

They had 9 ply oak plywood for $39 so I got five sheets of it for shelves and 300 feet more of the moulding I am using around the doors and windows. I still need about 1500 feet of quarter bead but I'll wait until I clear some more room in the front garage.

Today the girl that helped box things up a few days ago will be back and we're going to attempt to get the last remnants of stuff at the old house brought over and I'll spend the weekend sawing and painting and drilling so we can hang things and maybe get a chandelier added to the masterbath that we found when moving.

I'm sorry to sound picky, but was it the chandelier you found or the masterbath? The sentence can be read either way. It made me laugh and now I'm curious because I've read a few strange-sounding stories like that which are true.
I wish you good progress on your next activities.

To Make it Even More Ambiguous

(Permanent Link)
Hah! When I wrote that I realized it could be taken the wrong way but really in real life at times I talk like that since I wacked my head and I was always more of a math person and not so much on grammer so I let it go and wondered if anyone would speak up and you did!

I flipped the door around for the master bath to make it easier for my wife to get in and out and forgot to move my light switches when I framed and wired the house. I put in another box on the handle side of the door where a switch normally belongs and was just going to reroute the wire to the ceiling light, but we found a chandelier my wife got long ago somewhere and the way she was looking at it if I don't stick it in the Masterbath she's gonna want it to go somewhere else so this is actually going to save me time wink wink nudge nudge.

The Airhandler for the heating and cooling is in the attic up there so I have walkways and can get to the ceilings other side and add a new box pretty easily and then I can leave the other light alone and not have to worry about removing a switch and I won't be taking an existing light down at 10 pm some night to swap it for the chandelier.

Thanks for clearing that up! It sounds like you have some work to do, but you have it planned out. Good luck. I hope it all goes smoothly and efficiently. Our projects usually turn out more involved than we expected.

I can turn the Simpliest of Projects

Into a bunch of other projects which explains why it took 7 years to build this house!

I had the same reaction, but I figured it was probably a chandelier. :) The house is big, but I don't think it's big enough that he'd lose an entire room.

I dunno if that's a bot or a human but it's a safe link to the Austin Shakespeare Festival.
