Things seem to fit.

I'm using about a tube and a half of Liquid Nails to put down the treads and got four done yesterday after I chaulked all the nails and put another coat of white on the rises and sides. I made a template from a piece of plywood 1/4 of an inch shorter than what the treads are and use it to get a pretty good idea of how well the tread itself will fit. Each step can vary by a hair so I cut them a bit longer and then fine tune the edges with the stationary belt sander so I can get a pretty snug fit.

Once they are all in place i'll need to go around and chaulk any spots I missed and give it another coat of paint, and then another coat of poly uerethane on the treads but I'll wait to do that until the rest of the floors are done.

Hopefully in 2 weeks or so the floors will look shiny like the stairs...
