The Well is Not Well.

It was the Gnomes from Zurich I'm sure tunneling around looking for riches but it could have just been all the rust I shook up working on it.

The pump is submersiable so it goes down the casing with a long wire that seems to have gotten nicely melted. It hangs on the end of a drop pipe that is an inch and a quarter galvanized steel and not very light. Each piece is twenty one feet long and I had to pull up seven to reach the pump which took most of today. The wire might have been nicked when the pump was first put in or maybe the pump flexes enough to wear a section of the insulation off but either way I need to get about 150 feet of new wire and maybe a pump but it was past dark when I got the last section out so I won't know until tommorrow.

As long as I don't drop it when I am putting it back down things should be ok...

If you find Little Timmy down there, let me know. The s.o.b. still owes me money.
