The secure dog kennel.

Room for four plus a few strays!

I put them in here every time we have a hurricane getting close.

The bottom floor itself should take any amount of wind I am likely to get being 20 miles from the Gulf, but the garage door might fail and I don't want them running loose so I made a kennel under part of my workbench. The workbench is J-Bolted into the concrete wall and resting on 4 by 4's and the block wall is filled with concrete.

Originally I was going to put a concrete ceiling over the workshop but my wife got wind of it and used her Veto power, so when I built the workbench I made it very stout.

The other end doubles as a safe place to hide under if I hear the freight trains approaching.
