Feb. 26th, 2006 @ 11:37 am Time is Relative but Next Week will get Here...
So Yes, one more week.

Everytime I turn around I find a few more I meant to do this kind of thing but I have gotten more done in the last two weeks with a helper than I had in the last four months.

I had forgotten how tiring it is to pay attention all day. I really forget a lot I've noticed but having someone to ask what am I supposed to be doing makes a big difference in things actually getting finished. The house is very secure now as far as windloads. The top chord of a lot of the trusses is bolted to the bottom level of the house so to lift the roof off a storm will need to pick up the whole house. I have three more internal walls to cover with plywood when I can move enough stuff to get to them, and still a couple minor wiring things to get roughed in. The house would pass inspection now, but if I don't finish the last few days of odds and ends, it would be too tempting to start putting up the insulation and maybe forgetting something so I'll be patient.

We took an offer on one of the houses so if it closes next month we'll have the funds to finish up the inside and I should be in here some time this summer.

I'll take a break and let the doctors mess with me a bit.

I'm getting tired of Hats...

Big difference having someone there to help you out. So much more gets done than if you were alone. I'm glad so much progress has been made - but now it's time to chill out for a bit!
