Oct. 19th, 2011 @ 01:44 pm I Love Maizes!
LOL When I was a kid I always imagined whatever house I ended up in when I got old that I'd make a maze of bushes or something.

If it weren't for the fact that now I live where half the snakes are poisonous I won't be trying it on the farm cause they'd love to hang out in there but I use to run around a lot in cornfields in my younger days.

This would have been a blast and the farmer with the corn near us probably would have done it for us if we had thought of it since he used to give us hey rides every Halloween....

Corn Mazes

(Permanent Link)
Boy do I love corn mazes, have you ever been in one at night with only a few people in at the same time. Everybody running around with flashlights and glow sticks not really trying to find the way out. The fun thing to do was to turn off your light, adjust your eyes to the moonlight and sneak through the corn and find someone to follow around until you could cut them off by taking a shortcut through the corn, and then jumping out and scaring them. Most corn mazes are cut out of fields of feed corn, cheap corn that is hard to eat raw. The best corn maze I ever went through was made from sweet corn, so you could reach up find a cob and actually eat the corn around you, it was a little hard because of how cold it was but delicious.
