Apr. 23rd, 2009 @ 08:36 am I'm Walkin Down the Line
That divides me somewhere in my Mind.

Read Between the Lines, check my vital Signs and see I'm still Breating...

I can walk the line blindfolded.

Of course that's proof I never actually know where I'm headed!

And another thing!

It's nice to meet you too Mike. http://senseless.livejournal.com/295791.html Glad to read the good news about your wife's homecoming.

And you've acquired a peacock alarm clock? Very cool. Um.. but perhaps it's good that you saw him before you heard him. Are you making progress assigning him to guard-the-dawg duty? Excellent idea that.. particularly as your flying pup performs invaluable spirit lifting service to humanity. http://senseless.livejournal.com/295958.html This photo works unfailingly!

Easter morning excitement in my neighborhood too. Our resident hysterical first grade teacher called to tell me she had BEES. Bless her heart . She didn't know about honey bee swarms.. or that such a gorgeous day could tempt any queen to take her troops out for a Sunday picnic... or that the football sized bee clump in her bush would never be more docile. Oh if only Santa Claus had taken my request for a hive seriously.. I would have free bees pollinating MY backyard today. Alas, we were stuck calling in a "professional" beekeeper to come brush them into his box and take them away.

I have learned something from your example. Grabbed my camera. No, I wasn't actively thinking about you and your rattlesnakes.. but Something made it easy for me to approach a thousand stingers with calm enthusiasm. And if my antique brain isn't deceiving me, I may even have figured out how to put pictures on flickr. We'll see.. this is evidently a slow process. Tick tock. And so I have yet another thing to thank you for. Maybe two. If I can scrounge up the little bit of courage I need to order some store-bought bees, who knows?.. maybe someday I'll swap ya a jar of honey for a peacock feather.
Continued good luck with your projects!
Best regards.. SD in NC

Bees Knees

(Permanent Link)
I had bees when I was a kid for a time in a simple wooden soda box and would sit and watch them dance thier dance.

No smoke and no netting I'd just sit real stil next to it and slide the lid off, only got stung once but I practically had my head in the thing so I suppose I deserved it!
