And suddenly it was August.

I have the hardest time remembering time.

Everything from a week to a decade ago feels the same.

The wife is home with her new knee and doing pretty well though she might not admit it. The chair lift was too difficult for anyone but me to use apparently so I got one from http://www.harmarmobility.com/ that's electric and pretty nifty. It wasn't too hard to put on and has a simple switch that raises and lowers it with one finger. If the platform doesn't have the weight of the chair on it, it will swing up and park itself out of the way, and the entire lift will swing away so I can still open the hatchback. It has a latch like a semi truck that grabs the chair and locks it down. I drove it up and down the interstate without a sway so it seems like it will work just fine.

Swing away

Power Lift

I got the rest of the tile finished and a few other odds and ends like trim and such and actually got the bottom garage and workshop cleared out enough to walk around in. I've been sorting through all the building leftovers and storing them at one end of the crawlspace until I have a use for them.

I'm sure someday I'll add an addition or something and they'll prove useful...

No kidding. Where has the time gone, eh?

that chair lift for the car looks pretty solid.
