Jan. 9th, 2007 @ 09:35 am How to Train a Cat
Start early, just like you need to with humans.

I've been giving Betsy a bath since she was a kitten and the cat doesn't particularily like it but never puts up much of a fuss. It's helps to have the water warm and to transmit calming thoughts. She'll sit in there for a while as long as I keep telling her to stay believe it or not and yes you have to say stay or she looks at you and hops out. She also understands No to a point.

I treat all my cats like dogs...

I can't believe it, you can actually bathe the cat.

No way could I try that with my cats. They are both rescued and have many issues.

When I first got my kitties, they had to be bathed because they had ringworm. But even from the get-go, they didn't like it, particularly the more feisty one!

It's hard to explain but it's always been that way for me.
